  • Shoreline: Wide white sand with a gentle slope into the water. The seabed varies: some areas have stones, others sand, and in some spots, sharp pebbles appear.
  • Water: Very clear; during high tide, it can become slightly cloudy due to waves, but at low tide near the shore, the water is completely calm.
  • Waves: High waves break on the distant reef, creating calm lagoons near the shore. Suitable for swimming with children.
  • Sunsets: The sun sets behind Bukit, painting the sky in picturesque pink and red hues.
  • Water entry: In some areas, it’s tricky due to stones, so caution is advised when swimming during high tide.

  • Restaurants: Palmella restaurant with an infinity pool is on-site; traditional warungs are also available.
  • Sun loungers: 2 loungers with an umbrella cost 100,000 IDR; locals pay 50,000 IDR.
  • Special features: The promenade has gazebos, greenery, and paved walkways; the area is wheelchair accessible.

Visiting Features

  • Connectivity: No cellular signal at the base of the cliffs.
  • Crowds: On weekday mornings, the beach is quiet, but it gets busier after lunch and on weekends.
  • Access: Roads cut into the cliffs provide convenient access, though the left road is not fully completed and is not recommended for driving.
